Being able to weave growth mindset principles into an English, maths or science lesson has the potential to more effective than just teaching growth mindset as a standalone subject.

From speaking to and surveying teachers around the country, we have learned that a significant number of children in Scotland are uncomfortable doing maths.
In 2018, a survey conducted with 11,000 pupils told us that around half of them feel 'anxious' or 'nervous' about maths.
That’s why mindset maths is our most popular professional learning programme.
Developed in partnership with Dr Jo Boaler of Stanford University, our mindset in numeracy programme supports teachers and school leadership to understand and tackle the challenges their colleagues and pupils encounter in maths.
