Positive reinforcement, leadership and encouragement among peers is now commonplace throughout the school.
Before the pandemic, staff at Fintry Primary introduced growth mindset to boost pupils’ confidence.
Primary 6 pupils led growth mindset activities with primary 2 pupils, to share what they’d discovered about the
value of making mistakes and being resilient.
When pupils returned after school closures, the captain of the school football team suggested sharing the lessons he’d learned with the rest of the team.
