Celia is passionate about creating opportunities for people and building a better Scotland. She is the Chief Executive of Inspiring Scotland and has been instrumental in delivering the innovative and collaborative approaches Inspiring Scotland takes to making Scotland a better place since it was founded in 2008. She spent 20 years in the private sector with Pfizer leading innovative approaches to pharmaceutical sales and marketing.
Celia is committed to releasing the potential of people and communities to create lasting positive change and is a champion of collaborative working. She is a member of several community and advisory groups. She is a Trustee of Winning Scotland, Chair of the Scottish Recovery Consortium, an Advisor to Common Purpose Scotland, and member of the Scottish Violence Reduction Governance group.
Celia is also an enthusiastic advocate of the power of sport to build confidence, break down barriers and inspire people, young and old. She is a British Cycling coach in track, road and time-trial and co-founded the Clydesdale Colts youth cycling group in Lanarkshire, which she now chairs.
